FAQ

How to Use Grate Armor

Step 1: Clean the Grill
Remove food debris from the grates using your preferred grill-cleaning brush.

Step 2: Prepare the Oil
Add cooking oil or high-heat cooking fat (such as tallow) to the included lidded container.
Close the container when not in use to keep contents clean and ready for your next cook.

Step 3: Load the Brush
Dip the silicone nibs of the Grate Armor brush into the oil or fat.
The nibs are designed to hold and distribute oil evenly without dripping.

Step 4: Oil the Grates
Brush oil evenly across hot grill grates to create a non-stick, seasoned surface.

Step 5: Grill
Cook as usual with improved release and reduced sticking.

Step 6: Re-Oil After Cooking
After cooking and cleaning the grates, apply a light coat of oil to help season and protect them between uses.
